Bageshwar. On 29 April 2018, Prime Minister Narendra Modi made it discussed at the national level by referring to the biscuits of Maduve to be built in Munar at the Mann Ki Baat program. It is a matter of regret that the establishment stopped a year later. Till date the administration has not even taken care of it. Former District Panchayat President Harish Ethani has submitted a memorandum to the CDO demanding that it be re -operated.
On Tuesday, CDO RC Tiwari submitted a memorandum that Prime Minister Modi had said that 900 people would get employment and income of 15 lakhs from the biscuits of Maduway being built in Munar village of Kapkot. PM Modi had described it as effective to stop migration, but in the year 2019, the establishment was closed. He said that the previous government had opened the factory of Maduve’s biscuits in Munar.
After gaining popularity to Maduway biscuits, many farmers started getting employment from it and Maduva sold for Rs 20 to 25 per kg increased to Rs 50 per kg. Muduwe’s biscuits were also being supplied in 50 Anganwadi centers. Suddenly the factory closed and many people were lost. Despite this, the administration and administration did not improve it. He soon demanded that the establishment be run again.
