Lohaghat/Champawat. A tractor engaged in road construction work in Dungrabora, bordering the remote Nepal border of Lohaghat block, fell into a ditch of a tractor. The driver was seriously injured in the accident. The driver succumbed during treatment at the district hospital. The police is investigating the matter
Revenue Sub Inspector Deepa Samant said that on Monday, the tractor (UP 25AL 3109) in Rausal Dungrabora road construction work was uncontrolled and fell into the ditch. The driver Taslim (22) son Badlu resident Shergarh Bareilly was seriously injured in the accident. Local villagers and laborers engaged in construction work, after hard work, took out the injured driver from the ditch and rushed to the district hospital Champawat in a private vehicle.
The driver died during treatment here. The revenue sub -inspector said that the tractor has been completely damaged in the accident. Information about the incident has been given to higher officials. Kotwali in -charge Hemant Kathait said that the cause of the accident is being investigated.
