A Nepali laborer engaged in the construction of the Tonidali-Kakadagad road under construction in Kedarnath assembly constituency died of debris falling. The administration has filed a case against the contractor in the case. The administration has reprimanded Loniv for late night work, keeping the security arrangements on the last night.

The work of Tonidali-Kakadagad road under construction is being done at a turtle speed. This route between Kakadagad to Kund is passing above the Rudraprayag-Gaurikund highway. The highway has also been affected repeatedly for a year due to road debris.
Here, on Sunday, a Nepali laborer (56) devotee Bahadur died after falling debris during the cutting of this road under construction. On the information, the District Disaster Management Officer along with the team reached the spot and found that road work is being done by the contractor without proper lighting. Also there is no security arrangements.
