From Tuesday 17 June, from the scheduled time, helicopters of six heli companies from different helipads in Kedarghati will fly to Kedarnath. During this time, the DGCA will keep a close watch on each shuttle of the helicopter. The DGCA has issued necessary guidelines to the heli companies.

On June 15, after the helicopter crash at Gauri Mai Khar, the DGCA closed the helicopter service for Kedarnath for two days. Now from June 17, the heli service will start again at the scheduled time. Also, DGCA will keep a close watch on each shuttle of the helicopter. The DGCA said in the order issued that the flight of all helicopters for Kedarnath will be under DGCA OC-2-2023.

Also, full care will be taken keeping in mind the weather events. The pre -monsoon season will not be flown in view of the bad weather fears. Here Kedarnath helicopter service nodal officer Rahul Choubey said that the helicopter flight will start from the scheduled time.
