So far, about 32 lakh passengers have reached Chardham Yatra. Pilgrims are now reaching Chardham as well as other temples and pilgrimage sites. Due to which economic activities are intensifying in other places like Chardham Yatra route. This year, 57863 pilgrims had come to the Kartik Swamy temple in Rudraprayag by May.

In 2021, 15735 passengers arrived here. By 2024, the number of pilgrims reached 228837. While 56423 passengers had visited Jageshwar Dham till 15 June. In 2024, 208073 people visited here. Similarly, the number of pilgrims has increased in other major temples of the state.
Let us know that in this journey season itself, the total number of registration for Chardham and Hemkund has exceeded 44 lakhs. It has registered 713456 for Yamunotri Dham for 780554 Kedarnath for Gangotri 1443513 for Badrinath 1336923 and 169180 for Hemkund, out of which around 32 lakh pilgrims have been completed so far.

Its positive economic impact is visible on the Chardham Yatra route. CM Dhami has been continuously emphasizing on the propagation of other pilgrimage sites and dhams, so that economic activities in these areas can also be intensified.
