Ranipokhari police have registered a case against three people on charges of fraud of Rs 1 crore twenty lakh rupees in the name of selling land. Dharampur Dehradun, a resident of Vineet Kukreti, had filed a complaint in this regard. In the complaint given to the police, Vineet said that on August 1 last year, ward number 35 Dipnagar Ajabpur Kala Dehradun, Pareshwar Joshi alias Guddu Joshi resident Mianwala Dehradun and Durgesh Thapliyal took one crore twenty lakh rupees from the name of selling 7.5 bighas of land in Mauja Sangaon Ranipokhari. On asking for money, he was threatened with abuses and life. On the basis of the application, the case was registered against the police station Ranipokhari. Station Head Vichendra Chaudhary said that investigation has been started by registering a case.
