In the last five years, GMVN has extended its turnover continuously, extending tourism activities. It is expected that the situation will be better than Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is coming to Mukhaba and Harshil on March 6 with the aim of promoting winter tourism. Both these places in Uttarkashi district are very important in terms of religious and tourism. GMVN activities throughout the region have been operating long back.
It is believed that the visit of the Prime Minister will encourage tourism activities of GMVN not only in Uttarkashi, but also in other places. GMVN MD Vishal Mishra says that the corporation is operating the tourism activities well. And a better situation is expected to be a better situation. The total turnover of GMVN in the year 2020-21 was 31.46 crore, which increased to 81.45 crores in 2023-24.
