The hill suddenly broke down near Govindghat on Wednesday morning in Chamoli district, causing the bridge connecting Hemkund Sahib to damage. Chamoli District Magistrate Sandeep Tiwari said that there was a landslide in Govindghat area this morning. This damaged the PWD bridge and cut the route. The journey has not started yet, it will begin in May. But there is Pulna village, whose population is 200-250. The administration team has reached the spot with engineers and doctors. The priority is to make a way for the people living there to provide basic facilities like food, health and satellite phones to them.
