
Actually, a helicopter of Aryan Company crashed in Gaurikund area of Rudraprayag on Sunday morning. All the passengers in the helicopter were returning to Guptkashi after visiting Kedarnath. The accident took place at around 5.30 am. Helicopter nodal officer Rahul Choubey said that visibility was zero when there was more fog. In such a situation, the helicopter crashed at a short distance and caught fire.

A 23 -month -old girl is also included in the painful accident. NDRF and SDRF teams have also reached. The helicopter service has been stopped till further orders.

CM Dhami also expressed grief over the accident. At the same time, he has issued strict instructions regarding the helicopter operations, taking helicopter accidents seriously.

The Chief Minister said that strict SOPs should be prepared for the operation of heli services in the state, in which it should be made mandatory to get a complete investigation into the technical status of the helicopter and to get accurate information before the flight.

Uttarakhand Civil Aviation Development Authority (UCADA) CEO Sonika said that rescue operations are going on and our shuttle services have been stopped in view of the weather conditions in the valley. Almost all helicopters are engaged in rescue operations.
