A blood donation camp was organized by Amar Ujala Foundation at Base Hospital Kotdwar. The camp was inaugurated by Shailendra Singh Rawat, Mayor of Municipal Corporation Kotdwar. On this occasion, the mayor appealed to the youth to donate blood regularly. He said that blood donation is a virtuous task, from which the life of a needy can be saved. Youth and representatives of voluntary organizations participated enthusiastically in the camp. Blood donors were also honored by giving certificates.
